King Alexander's Hunting Lodge

Former Royal Hunting Lodge built for Alexander I of Yugoslavia and designed in 1932. The lodge was later used by Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito and many of his guests. Plečnik designed the hunting lodge in Kamniška Bistrica in 1932/33. July 1934- He says: "Tomorrow we go to Kamniška Bistrica for two days. I have driven the craftsmen and myself to the extreme so that everything would be ready." Despite this rush, the king did not spend much time at the lodge, as he was assassinated the following autumn.
