The opus of Plečnik's works also includes gravestones which he made on commission. The gravestone of the Golob family, in Mekinje, was set up in 1957. It was designed before that year for the customer, a parish priest named Melhior Golob, from Škofja Loka. He had the gravestone made for the grave of his parents.
